Help with ID....

I have these palms in 2 different area in a sunny bed. I have already trimmed any yellowing leaves. Would like to know what they are to better care for them.

These were established in the beds when I moved in, in Oct. 2011. I don't plan on moving them. They get full sun from about 11 am until about 6 pm during the summer. They have thorns on the leaves near the trunk. The next post will be a pic of what I think is the flower.

As a newbie to Florida any help woud be greatly appreciated. I have been reading and searching the forums here for the past few weeks and learned ALOT, from many of the forums that I have been following.
