Hey everyone!
I've had this spindle for about two years now and it's been growing great. Each year it puts out 1 to 2 new fronds, each bigger than the previous. Toward the end of summer I noticed that there was a new spear growing. I have brought inside for winter and it's beginning to open up, however I've noticed the new frond is much shorter and smaller than the previous fronds. Is this normal? It may have been stressed since it burns each summer I've had it so far due to sun exposure. But still I've never seen it do this. Any thoughts?? I have posted a pic below
