Do you have a "Bleeding Heart" plant? I have 2 (pink), one gets the morning sun, but the other gets no direct sun at all. They are both the size of a wash tub. This year with all the rain they both were covered in blooms.

My biggest challenges right now are this dern wind today!...and the flea infestation I had on my Texas Sweet Onions. :-\ I tied all the stalks of them up on to bamboo poles (so they would be nowhere near the dirt) and sprayed the dirt with a very strong pesticide, which will hopefully not kill the onions too.

An on going challenge for me is my tropicalesque garden. Half of it is shaded by pine trees and very dry. It is hard to keep anything looking tropical in dry shade.

My challange is wet clay. Maybe I should switch from tomatoes to bricks or pottery.

My garden is going good so far. I got my tomatos planted on May 3rd between thunder storms. The onions and lettuce was planted in early April and their doing good. I planted okra, cucumbers, peppers earlier this week and finished planting some squash yesterday. The garden(42'x15')has had 3 to 4 inches of mulch put down so there are very few weeds. All of my flower beds were mulched back during the winter so I'm not having to mess with them at all. I have about 10 flats of assorted flowers planted and their starting to sprout, will be planting them soon if I can keep the neighbors dog out of them. By the way, is anyone interested in a chocolate lab pup?
