We just moved into a house with a fairly traditional layout
foyer-family room on the left, living dining room on the right, kitchen at the back of the house. In the front foyer there is older reddish-brown hardwood running from foyer to family room,
-our dilemma is we don't love the hardwood but we really don't want to go through ripping it up or replacing it, but the living room carpet needs to go
Do we have to match the floor to the foyer/family room or can we do something different
any suggestions greatly appreciated
