A lovely birthday card and seeds arrived in my little mailbox from Jeanne...sandlapper_rose. She sent Echinacea "White Swan" (love this), Cosmos "Sensations" mix, Zinnia "Exquisite Pink" and so very appropriate, "Sweet Annie", which I have never grown!

I should have read your post before I planted all my nasturtium seeds! I have a wonderful store called summers past farm that I walk to for exercise and I buy all my seeds there. I just bought a couple of varieties that were really cool, but I planted them all! Maybe I'll have to go walking again during this next week! Have a good birthday month!

I am harvesting seeds from my Johnny Jump Ups just this week. Perfect timing for me to be late, I guess! That's one more seed I can add to the pack that wouldn't have been there had I been on time with birthday wishes. I love it when lateness is justifiable.

I have been out of town for several days "goofing off" on the California coast and in Southern Oregon. One thing I do well, is goof off...LOL! I did stop by the Baker Creek seed bank in Petaluma which is North of San Francisco...very cool! The seed bank, like the website, does have a great selection of seeds!
