I have mine in the GH permanently and they get pollinated just fine on their own.

So far all the flowers are drying up after a couple days and falling off. Does not look like I will get one fruit this year.

Looks like I'm in the same boat with my Pineapple Guava, I only have 2-3 left (tiny fruits) left on my tree...and it hasn't grown any at all. I don't think these are going to make it either.

Ya I had no luck with my pineapple guava I had over 30 flowers this year wich I hand pollinated them and nothing they all fell off eventually. I was happy that my Strawberry guava had lots of flowers this year but looks like they are all droping off not sure if its because its the first year its flowering or if its something else.

My first strawberry guava flowering gave me nothing. The second flowering (just a few months later) seems every flower is becoming a fruit.
Have faith and patience! Your time will come.

Ya I had a feeling this was going to happen. I guess I dont have much of a choice but to be patient and wait.

Thanks for the offer jacob13 I have family I never met in san Diego, My two strawberry guavas had around 50 flowers each all fell off but one, one is actually growing so maybe I will get to eat one this year. Plants are indoors in my Condo.

Lucky me my grandfather is coming to visit in September and is going to bring me some yellow strawberry guava from our tree in Portugal. Also my tree just flowered and lots all its flowers exept for one wich is about the size of a green olive now and yesterday I looked at it and its forming lots of new flower buds is that normal? Its only been about 3-4 weeks since the flowers started to fall off.

Yeah, it seems like both the Pineapple (which I also have) and the Strawberry are prolfic producers which will typically flower, then fruit, and then continue to flower. They are literally non-stop and require little or no attention. My pineapple guavas frequently get double the size of Golf balls where as the Strawberry guavas are typically the size of gum balls or smaller
