It looks like Cardamine hirsuta. The seeds do explode, up to 10 feet from what I've read.

farah, common winter annual weed. If the seeds are flying as you are pulling the weeds, you are letting them go too long. The trick to keeping the population down is to get them out before they set seed. That's going to mean keeping an eye out for them just about year round in our mild climate, pull those little rosettes of leaves, especially those with flowers before they have set and dispersed their seed. Mulch will help to keep those seeds already there from germinating. Make a conscious effort to stay on top of them, you wont solve a shot weed problem in just one year but if consistent you will get the upper hand.
