Eagerly awaiting my seed package.

Since I haven't received anything, I'm hoping my package made it to its destination. Hopefully, I have no reason to be concerned.

same here, waiting on this swap to come in and another swap. This close to christmas I hope they don't get lost in the mail. I try not to do a swap so close to Christmas for that very reason. But swaps are getting harder to find. Just hoping my seeds don't get lost.

I got my seeds today from Willy. I won't be doing his swaps again.

I mailed my seeds 2 months ago. All named, rare varieties in generous amounts.

There were way too many unnamed seed varieties in the package that I received. Many packets barely had any seeds in them.

I won't be doing this swap again. I've never received so many unnamed varieties in a group swap.

Also most of the packets don't have harvest dates. I have no idea how old they are, so I can't trade with them. I'll just give them away.

Michael, I got very few good things. Let me know if yours is better. I should have known better, because there's nothing in the rules about "named" varieties. The seed quantity rule was not followed by all, though. Oh well.

can I please get an update from Willy, still waiting on my seeds and they still have not showed up. any word at all??? did you use a tracking number for any seeds co ming home to people who entered???

I had 174 packs this swap and I have 274 and still working on them for the next swap but am sort of leary of sending them in now since I've not had any sort of contact on this swap

The seed packets I received were old/I had seeds loose in the bumble packaging. I would not do this swap again.

I found this out after I sent all rare varieties and like you, good amounts. I got back all no named garbage, lots of mixes and many with hardly any seeds in them. I'm sure back then I made a nice post but it was not heartfelt.

I think I fell for it twice before I found out by another GW member that he had done this to many of the oldies who refuse to join in anymore.

I tried on the new seed swap thread to gently warn people by posting about his store but people didn't get it. I tried to do it by asking if he ever sent seeds from his ebay store but people didn't get it. I emailed a couple to warn them.

Anyway,I would not join in this swap again. If you want to know where all the good seeds go, look on ebay!

Yes!!! Thats EXACTLY what happened to me. I feel horrible because I recommended his swap to several Facebook followers. I hope they have better luck with their seeds. If not, I hope they let me know and I will definitely make it right. I feel bad for them.

Yes I got alot of duplicates and generic seeds....i think i got like 5 packs of "pink hollyhocks" lol....I appreciate someone hosting a swap but this was not my favorite. I sent to this one, seed purge and greedy geek at the same time....I LOVED the seed purge one and got some great things from greedy geek(I think he paid attention to my want list I sent to him too!) but I could have saved these for WLOML swap....

Still no seeds and still no email from willy. I am feeling more and more like I got screwed. Very disappointed at this point. I would think willy would at least step up and say something.

Suzydaze, I wouldn't worry yet. I have not heard anything either. Mail is eradic at this time of year. Looks like people just started getting them this weekend. Hopefully we will have something by Monday.

Willy's last post that he mailed out was november 10th. Today is the Dec. 16th. I'm one state up from Willy, 5 days tops even for the USPS.

So either willy mailed out later than he said he did or they are lost. I've had no email at all from Willy. So I have no idea what is going on. I'd like to hear from Willy, He didn't have the time to come over and post anything here, but he's already started a new swap. So that's part of what has me peeved, he needs to finish this swap first.

I just want to give him a chance, I know I am new at this, but don't want to feel disappointed. The lack of communication is the toughest part. I am going to think positive for a few more days. :) On Nov. 10, he stated he was going to mail in a couple of weeks. " It will take me a few weeks to go through all of them and begin to prepare your new seeds to be returned to you"

I have no doubt that you will receive your seeds ladies .I have never heard of him not sending, he is just very slow at getting them out...

It would really help if he would take the time to post and do a few emails.

Woo hoo! Received my wonderful package of seeds yesterday! What a fantastic assortment of veggies and herbs, including some carrot seeds I've really been wanting, 3 different kinds of corn (sweet corn and popcorn) and some kewl squash/pumpkin seeds. - Thank you, Willy, for again hosting this fabulous swap! I'm certain everyone else will be at least as pleased as I am! :) And major thanks, of course, to everyone of you fun-loving GardenWebbers who took part in this swap! :) - Now, I must get ready for Willy's New Year swap. ;)

I looked for Willy's ebay store and could not find it. I guess with all the fuss he has pulled it til things settle down...and still no seeds today very down and out about it.

Has anyone else not received their seeds? I know it's Christmas time, but it's been 11 days since Sheri got her package back and I still haven't got mine.

Seeing that link of over 1,000 listings def shows where alot of good seeds went I think.....just my opinion but alot of those varieties I wish were in my package! lmao

Hrmm. Thanks for responding dem_pa. At first I just though the delay was because of Christmas, but now I'm starting to worry.

I may be totally wrong but I think Willy is trying to put better packages together.

When I see a post like sdambr , I'm thinking he saw my original post a long while back and is trying to make better packages. This would take a long while because he sells 1, 2,5 seeds so he would have to be repacking for a long time.

I wouldn't worry about seeds, I have not heard of anyone saying they didn't ever get seeds, he is just slow...

Thanks, Lisa. I guess I just assumed that he mailed them all off at the same time, but if that's not the case, it makes perfect sense why some of us still haven't gotten ours.

Willy -- I received my pack today! I'm very happy with the contents. Thank you so much for hosting.

I finally got my seeds. I have been sick ( everyone in the house has been sick) but anyhow. My seeds were post marked for Dec 17th I got them on the 22nd. The assortment was ok but it did look like they had been re packaged and the were labled using an ebay account.each packet that looked to be re packaged contained a small amount of seeds. Not real happy but glad I got my seeds.

I received my package on Dec 12, more packs (16) than the 12 I sent in. Willy the host had read my request and sent me only perennial seeds including the echinaceas, rudbeckias and asters I'd requested. This was my first round robin swap and I'm pleasantly surprised. Thank you!

I haven't received mine yet. Maybe it was lost in the mail?
