I've never seen this weed before, at least I think it's one. Last year at the base of my new hydrangea grew a series of rounded leaves that I thought could have been part of the hydrangea as the leaves grew and possibly spread a little. I left it and by the fall it certainly didn't resemble part of the hydrangea. My mum told me to leave it so we could see if it died off or it lay dormant over the winter. Well now I have what seems to resemble the growing habit of ground hugging sedum. All these individual purple stem like things that are soft and pliable are just popping up and the flowers are yellow, resembling very mini dandelion flowers. Is this a dandelion or is it some sort of spring flower that will go into leaf because the leaves are really stunningly beautiful and round. I don't know what to do, whether to carefully kill or replant. Thanks for your help
