where do you live?

If that is a plant you want growing where you want it it is a desirable plant, however, if that is a plant you do not want growing where you do not want it growing it is a "weed". I have pulled many similarly looking plants from planting beds because I did not want them there as well as roses and others that self seeded among my Lilacs.

Looks like an Amaranth to me. Some Amaranths are considered weeds. Others have nice looking flowers. All will self-seed generously, so if you keep it I would suggest not allowing the flowers to go to seed unless you want lots of them.
