Hmmmm... I was considering trying tiny tim's or some other very small tomato. I wonder what other people's takes are on this. I would like to try something sweet, like you said you prefer.

Ditto what Paul said. I thought it was because I grew them indoors in a sunny window over winter and that they didn't get enough sunlight to produce a lot of sugars. But maybe it's just a characteristic of Tiny Tim. Some of mine were acidic to the point of being sour and none had that cherry tomato sweetness that I've tasted in other types.

Well, if Tiny Tim's aren't the bomb, what is? Anyone try a mini cherry tomato variety that they like real well?

Haven't tried any other 'patio' toms.

Then too I can't actually say I dislike the flavor of these. I do like sweet toms but I also like the ones that are a bit acidic. (I simply like tomatoes. ;D Definitely a 'shocker' when I first popped one in my mouth expecting a sugar rush. LOL

I'm currently growing Husky Red Cherry. It's small and has rugose leaves. I do like its taste which is low on sugar and slightly tart. It makes a great flavor burst in a sauce.
