I've been searching and searching to try and identify this bug - which I think is a beetle. My dog found it in my backyard in southern AZ and chased it into the rocks and then out the weep hole. This is the best and only pic I have - it's not that great and only shows about the top 1/3 of the body. But, the orange and black banded antenna and other markings seem like they should be pretty distinctive. It was about 2-3" long and didn't fly at all when being pestered by my dog. Another of my dogs found it, or a similar one, another evening and again it didn't fly. It appeared to have a black and yellow banded body under the black wings. Any help will be appreciated because I've been driving myself crazy trying to identify it. Thanks in advance.
