Thank you. I'm reading the installation guide about air shutter adjustments, but it's very vague to me. It just says adjust the air shutter. Can you give me any more guidance as to where I find the air shutter, what it looks like and how I adjust it? Thanks.

Basically the pipe has a window in it partially covered with a sliding 'shutter'- you need to loosen a screw to slide this. If you open the window wider, you will get more air and bluer flame, but you don't want so much air that the flame burns noisy, or the blue inner cone lifts.

If you close the window, you cut the air, and it burns with a lazy flame, with more orange tips. This is not a clean burn, so you need to open the shutter just a little.

I have a new but related question. I just purchased a bluestar and have adjusted the burners as in owners manual by taking a burner down to simmer, pull off the knob and turn the screw in there until the flame is where I want it. On my simmer burner, I can't lower it enough to get to owner's manual specs. Any ideas? Thanks,
