I love my ruby red BlueStar range! The pop of color is just what is needed in my non-remodeled kitchen and it is a great way to break up the monotony of SS (range hood, FD refrigerator, dishwasher, sink). The stainless steel portions of the range tie it in with the rest of my appliances and the color makes me happy every time I look at it. No regrets here. Just be sure it's a color you love and have fun!

We have a burgundy Lacanche Cluny. After three years, we couldn't be happier with our selection.

It was love at first sight when I first laid eyes on my claret red Aga 6-4 in 2007. Now each morning when I enter the kitchen and see my smiling red range (with color-matched hood), I can't help but smile back. This is a love affair for life.

We have a French blue Cluny. It's really beautiful. It actually wasn't my first choice, I wanted the ivory, but the hubs really had his heart set on the blue and now I adore it. It's a deep, quiet blue. I'll never grow tired of it.

I think with color altogether, if you love it you love it and you'll keep loving it, even as your tastes change. If you're doing it to fit a certain design scheme rather than because you love the color, yes, you might get tired of it over time.

Even if you fall in love with persimmon, or some other "difficult" color, if you're still in love after a few months thinking it over the love will probably last. If it's a matter of what's snazzy or stylish, then no, it may blow over like last year's trend.

I agree with pirula--I absolutely adore my French blue Cluny as does everyone who sees it. I'm taking it with me to the new home we just purchased!

I have a Provence Yellow Cluny. It is actually the "neutral" in my kitchen. People usually zoom in on the backsplash or the countertop. I think plllog's made a very important point about design scheme. I'm at 5 years and counting myself very happy. I love the finish!
