Very pretty! Love the floor and the accent tiles - good choice for wall color. I'm going to miss the updates on your "adventure." Are you planning on renovating any other rooms - a kitchen perhaps? If so, please start another thread and keep us posted on your next project. (I just read your "Washlet story" and was hysterical.)

Thanks Kitchenkrazed. It has been quite the venture. It will take a while for the nerves to mend, the wallet to refill and the husband to calm before I start on the downstairs bathroom!!

You've inspired me to finally put my pictures on the wall for the bathroom. Congrats on finishing the bathroom including the final touches. I love the way you had such a neutral color but managed to make it unique with the tile accents. What was the wall color you used for your bathroom? It looks really good on the wall.

The funny thing is I really didn't want to change the original blue and white look - I just wanted to add a soaking tub. then one thing led to another. I am more than happy with the result though, even if it was not the original vision. DH just snorts and says all he wants is to be able to have a a functioning bathroom.

T.hey have gorgeous tiles. The one I used was called Crystal Glass Mosaic Tile Mix w/Natural Stone Bath Wall
There is a beautiful mosaic in tones of maroon that I am thinking of using as an accent tile in the window wells of my dining room. Except I am so gun shy of starting another project I might just lay a chunk of the raw tile on top for a while!
Paint - I usually use Ellen Kennon, but couldn't find the right tone, so I went with Beauty tone Designer Series from Home Hardware - colour Nougat. The white is Ellen Kennon Blush
Tile - walls COEM travertino romano walnut; Floor - Mother Nature Jet Brown
Fixtures - mostly American Standard
Tub - Maax bubble tub
Toilet - Toto drake
Steam shower - Thermosol

I was wondering what size are the dark rectangular floor tiles and the square tiles on the wall behind the toilet and in the shower? Your bathroom looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

Hi Constanceann
The shower/wall tiles are 18"x18" and the floor "wood" tiles are 26"x6". If I were to try tiling myself I would not struggle with tiles that big the first time. The shower floor are 2" mosiac.
