If you want something modern, try West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Crate and Barrel. Also, Garnet Hill had a few. The problem is, no one carries more than a handful.

There is a plain cotton waffle weave curtain that seems like a great idea; it is probably what I will use. I'm attaching a link about it.

Anthropologie has some interesting shower curtains. In general their quality is very high.

Restoration Hardware has some beautiful shower curtains. In fact, I intend to purchase an Italian Hotel Satin Stitch Shower Curtain from them.

And as marie_louise mentioned: Pottery Barn, West Elm, Crate and Barrel.

I bought a shower curtain last year for my MIL's bed and breakfast on Martha's Vineyard from Vita Futura online. Not sure what you're looking for, but I like their designs--bold colorful graphics. And the quality was good.

I looked in Kohl's last fall and they had a lot of them! I ended up getting mine at W. I wanted green and purple and they had it in a pattern I really liked.

I saw some really frilly, pretty ones - white cotton with ruffles at the bottom at Anthropologie. You hardly see that frilly take anymore. With colickyboy as your user name it might not be what you had in mind!!

Restoration Hardware's Bath Event/Sale is going on now ('til late August?), and their shower curtains are marked down. I think they might be phasing out the curtains, so it's a good opportunity to get one at a very good price (the 10% coupon card is applicable to the marked down curtains, so even more savings!).

I do like the new white cotton shower curtains with the vinyl liner...they look nice. Good luck in your search.
