FYI - Hansgrohe's Thermobalance valves and trim have been discontinued. Stock is still around - but might be difficult to find especially moving forward.

To answer your ? - maybe. I'm not sure which model jacobse has , but some of the TB trims don't even have levers or knobs to adjust ! You have to remove a cover plate. Some have large cross handles and others thin nubs.

The whole point of these is to set the temp you like once and then leave it alone. You then adjust the flow rate and the valve keeps the water temp constant.

If the spouse likes hot hot and you like lukewarm , then it could be an issue.

For ease of use you may want to look at a digital system like Kohler's DTV or Moen's iControl. It will allow you to program different settings for different users and simply press one button to start the particular setting. They are big $$$ though, with Moen's being the less expensive of the two.
