I love this blond, raw weathered look. It reminds me of coastal. Do you see this finish being excepted? I saw that finish being shown in a no. of showrooms at High Point in Oct. last year. Will you be showing it? I realize that I need to be talking it up. I think that finish would do well in my neck of the woods, - Bermuda.

I just saw this whole set up in a Restoration Hardware catalog I got in the mail today. Almost every table they had in the catalog had this finish.
I like the table top, but think it would look better with some kind of iron base.
It also makes me want to go put some lotion on my hands it looks so dry.
It is beautiful and very different.

The base on this table is heavy isn't it.

What is the finish on this table ? It looks like sanded raw wood but I wonder how that would accomadate gravy etc. being spilled on it ?

We are getting ready to have this table custom built and I'm curious if anyone has any complaints about stains or washing it? We have small kids so I'm just a lil worried about going with this look over a stained one. Any advice appreciated!

I am sanding all of my wood furniture to try and achieve this raw wood look....Actually my husband is

doing alot of the sanding for me.I love the old world look and see that Pottery Barn is trying some

pieces with this look...Check out their Mason pine bed !

I bought a beautiful 3drawer chest from French Renaissance at Rennigers Antique Extravaganza in Mt

Dora !FL that was raw sanded wood....Loved it and am trying to use this look in our new house in St

Augustine Beach....So it's happy sanding for us...wWill post some pics when we get moved in !
