we love our Thermatru fiberglass front door - no future staining/worries! we have a door from the mahogany collection that truly looks like real wood.

SO far so good with our Thermatru - Fiber Classic oak grain, but I stained it Mahogany. The only thing is, if you nick or scratch it, it's horrible to touch up, even with an artist's brush. I just use a toothpick.

Mine was just put on Monday, so I havent decided what color or stain yet, but as far as looks, I love it. It is textured like wood and looks and feels real, but I can't remember what brand it is.

Our Front door was put in a couple of weeks ago! It's a Therma Tru Fiberclassic Door. It has the look of wood, but not the price! We are going to have it gel stained by the painter!

We also decided to put wrought iron in ours instead of the normal glass look! Hope this helps you out!

I have three Therma-tru doors. Two are white, one is painted black. I would purchase the brand again.

We installed fiberglass doors for both the entry to the main house and the entry of the guest house, both sets are 8 ft tall and stunning, I went with Plastpro from their Rustic Line, as we are building a Farm/Country style house, we stained them in Danish Walnut and you truly would not know whether they were real wood or not. We live in a hot and humid climate and didn't want the maintenance of real wood, not to mention the price tag!!! Good luck.

I think ours is a Therma-tru also. We really like it because it does look like real wood and hopefully it will last like everyone says!! Sorry, the picture is kind of at an angle for some reason; our house was not quite finished in this picture.

Twotogo, I really like your door! I can't believe it's fiberglass.

I hate my brand new door, hate it with a passion. It's a beautiful door but something went wrong with painting it and I'm am so not happy with it. Should have went with real wood, I'm so regretting it.

dreamywhite - you were so excited about your new door! What's wrong with the paint job? Can it be stripped and repainted (or stained, if that's the look you prefer)?
