here's a link to the one i have. bought it 10+ years ago and it's still going strong. the anodized aluminum gets seasoned similar to cast iron.

i use mine practically every day. as someone mentioned in another thread, i actually find it useful to span it across two burners of different strengths (22K, 15K). that way, if i set the burners equally, the back one is hotter, which allows for two different cooking 'zones'.

Here I was, all set to get a Lodge cast iron griddle, and now an interesting alternative presents. Aluminum should be lighter, which I know my wife would like, but how do the two materials compare when it comes to cooking and cleaning up afterward?

The only one I could find that seems to fit on my Wolf Range (taking out the cast iron burners) is the Thor Kitchen 22.6" griddle. I just bought it and seems others have been happy with it.
