I'm looking to add a towel warmer to the far end of a long shower (9' long). One side of the shower will have about 6' of glass, floor to ceiling and the opposite wall is an exterior wall that has a 4' x 4' window in it. This center of this window will be about 3 ' from the where the towel warmer will be. This will be a walk in shower with no door. I do have a bit of concern over potential draftiness with this shower and the infiltration of cool air due to the window being so close to the shower. I'm in Canada where it does get cold in the winter.

My thought was to add a high BTU towel warmer to the far wall to the left of the window that would serve to heat the towels and to heat the air around the entrance to the shower / air around the window. I was also planning on having in floor heating in the rest of the bathroom.

Attached photo shows the old shower to the right and the removed jacuzzi tub area. The wall to the shower will be removed and shower head will be on far right wall. Entrance to shower will be about 3' wide starting from the right wall and you just walk all the way down into the area where the current shower is.

Most towel warmers seem to be 150 to 200 watts so if I wanted to heat the room a bit as well in that area I was thinking of say 350 to 400 watt warmer.

Does this make sense? Any models that you've used that have worked well for you? I'll be hard wiring this model.

Any other suggestions?
