Staining handrails--

Hi everyone,

We are having our floors stained red mahogany after they "water pop" the wood. The flooring company doesn't deal with handrails at all- they wanted my painter to sand & stain. So now should my painters know how to water pop it, and then stain it? Do most flooring companies not deal with the banisters? Any tips?

Not every flooring company will finish handrails, but some do and some even install them.

A good painter should be able to closely match the floor company's work.
