As the previous poster said, it probably comes with connectors, but you should be absolutely sure this is available.

We have a sectional, have placed it on a carpet, on a bare floor, half on, half off, and all it seems to want is for each piece to slide in a different direction. We tried the connectors that the store offered, but found that they eventually separated too. Finally my husband ended up duct-taping the legs together on the underside.

Still, I love sectionals and will try again!

Personally, I don't like it at all. I am also in the market for a sectional and have been looking really hard.
Why don't you try fitting some of the quality sofas into the room correctly that will last till you get them paid off at least.
Very sorry to sound harsh but I've owned those type sofas and was always disappointed BADLY in about a year. I realize it is hard, but I would rather sit on the floor for a year than go through the cheap sofa problems again. If money is real tight, just start saving a little here and there till you can get some quality product that you like the look of.
