Looking for good bakeware

I'm looking for great bakeware to replace bread pans, cake pans etc. I have pyrex, but want heavy metal pans that bake evenly. I'd really appreciate hearing what you are using using?

OMG, someone in the kitchen forum who wants to actually use these pretty kitchens?! lol

I dont bake ... the last thing I need is a batch of cookies or a whole cake calling out to me. I did buy new cookware ... Staub. LOve it.

For baking, I love air-bake pans, but they only come in a jelly roll, cookie sheet, and cake pan (9x13, I think?). No more burnt cookie bottoms or dry cake edges (I never understood the reason behind those special brownie pans that allows everyone to have an "edge"--in our house, we fight over the center brownie).

In my new kitchen, new house, I'd love some new bake and cookware for other things....

    not

When we remodeled our kitchen 5 yrs ago, I decided I was going to bake more. Out with the substandard bakeware & in with the new.

I found this site to be pretty extensive, great price points

I don't like the air-bake pans - find uneven baking with mine.

I like the heavy aluminum cookie sheets. SS for loaf pans, 9X13 and squares.
My favorite pie plates are the old Pyrex and I also have a couple of glass 9X13 that I like for certain things.

Having a lid for the 9X13 comes in very handy (see link)

I've given up on all residential-grade bakeware, especially the teflon crap. So, it is commercial-grade anodized aluminum, aluminized steel and stainless bakeware for me. It isn't that much more expensive, cleans easily, doesn't warp and should last forever. I'm also quite fond of my silpats and some commercial silicone muffin molds. I also have a few older hand-me-down pans.

I like my air-bake cookie sheets and jelly roll pans. I love the Pampered Chef bread and cake pans, but they're kindof expensive.

I think the stuff from the restaurant supply store. I haven't bought anything there since there's a store near me, but Rhome410 has a link to an online one on her blog. (Scroll down.)

I don't bake much as far as desserts, mostly casseroles. I use my Longaberger baking dishes, and some other stoneware I have. Even if I do bake a cake - its usually in a 9X13 longaberger dish. sometimes I use a bundt pan, its heavy and non-stick but couldn't tell you what brand it is :( Muffins don't seem to matter what crappy muffin pan I use because I use paper or tins.
My baking stones for cookies are pampered chef. I have one nice air-bake sheet pan too that I put rolls on. Oh and if I do feel compelled to bake a pie, my pie plates are Longaberger too. so - very little metal bake pans here.

I bought Doughmakers cookie sheets. I love them! It's good old pyrex pie plates for me; never had any reason to change those. Below is a link to a casserole dish I bought at a neighbor's Home and Garden party - I am surprised how much I like it. Heavy ceramic and it makes a great presentation.

I have enough pampered chef to choke a horse (where did that saying come from anway?)

But I think it's great stuff.
