I have that new sink. I bought it in NJ and had the movers bring it out to our new home in NM. We installed it on an IKEA base cab. and it was easy to install. The rim sits on top of the base cab. and is about an inch high, so the adjoining cab can have another surface material installed at that depth. IKEA sells a metal gap cover to be used between the two surface materials if needed. Our plumber thought it was a nice sink, and it was easy to plumb. You need to buy their steel circle cutter, or use your own, to cut your holes for faucet, soap dispenser, etc. Don't forget to get the drain basket for $5. I wipe it down occasionally with a microfiber cloth to prevent spotting. I'm quite pleased with it so far, and it looks great.

Thanks so much for posting! It's such an interesting sink with the builtin washboard that I was hoping someone used it. Our sink cabinet will be exactly the size of the sink, do you think the edges will be sharp? I should have looked at the edges more carefully... I'll check with DH to see if he has a tool that will cut the circle for the faucet. Again, thanks for the help.

No sharp edges on mine. The stainless steel is "wrapped" around a 1-2 inch wood or manufactured-wood frame, which supports it as it rests on the base cab. All corners and underneath edges on mine were smooth. So far, I love my Numerar.
