Panera bread lighting anyone???

I went into a panera bread today and was very intrigued by their pendant lighting. They had almost a paper type shade I have been searching for hours trying to find something on the net and can't. Can anyone guide me in the right direction. Thanks.

I was blown away when I saw your inquiry posted. I have never eaten lunch in a restaurant by myself (usually order to take out) but ate at Panera for the first time today and, since I'm trying to choose things for the house we're building, took in the decor. I liked the pendant lights and noted how clean and classic they looked.
I'm trying to figure how high over my island to place my pendant lights, so I was trying to gauge the distance between them and the tabletop as well.

I haven't seen that type shade anywhere yet, though I haven't been searching for them specifically.

The other thing I noted in there was the hardware from which they hung the banners picturing the new meals they're featuring. It reminded me of a picture gallery bar that Pottery Barn sold (or maybe still sells...) Configured a little differently, I thought it might be a neat way to display a quilt, or some other form of artwork.

Just so strange that this is the first time I ate at a Panera and to discover this post when I got home. If I locate similar shades, I will surely let you know!

I'm not sure what to search for because I don't know what materials the shades are made of... any ideas???

I just googled "panera interior" and found some press photos on Panera's website. You might want to see whether any of the pendants in the photos is the sort you're thinking of, just to clarify what we're talking about.

Here is a link that might be useful: panera photos

I couldn't get the full size photo to come up on my screen, but from what I could see on the thumbnail, the pendants were not the ones at my local Panera (in NH) yesterday. The ones at mine were more cone shaped and seemed to be more natural ivory rather than stark white. Hard to tell by the small picture and the light it's shown in, though.

If you look further down the page, you'll find links to several large photos.

I have gone to the site that jon1270 suggested and have noticed that there are different types of lights. They all seem to hang from their track lighting. If you could take a picture of the lights (you may have to ask the manager) and put it here, someone may be able to assist.

Juno and other track manufacturers have pendants that are being used in various restaurants. Also, they may have them made to adapt to the track. I would post the picture and see what happens.

I haven't seen the specific fixture which started this thread, but Tech Lighting has a pendant with a paper shade. It's called "Autumn Wind".

I will have to go and take a picture. It may take me awhile as it is about an hour away. Paper (I think) lamp shades where are they???? UGH!!!

Why not try calling that Panera and see if they have any idea where they came from? In my experience, people are typically flattered and will find the information if they can.
