Hello,

My husband stopped into a local appliance store as per my request and asked to see the Speed Queen. The salesguy said he doesn't like them because they go off balance all the time. He said his favorite is the GE Eterna. Now of course he is a salesman but I thought I'd do my research on this first and did a search on this forum and do not see anything on this. Does anyone have any experience with this washer/dryer set. We are looking for a larger capacity that can do King Duvets (down comforters). I really don't care if they are top load or front load, and hope spend under $1500 for the pair. The GE Eterna came up for $1300 includes taxes etc. I have read some of the posts here and seems the Whirlpool German made Duets have good reviews but at this point we don't know how much they are. The others seem to be the Maytag Bravo and the GE Harmony. Anyways any input would be appreciated.
