What is the website?

I figured out the correct site with a Google search. I wouldn't use this homemade soap for laundry, it has ground oats in the soap. Oats are great for a body soap, but I don't want them in my clothes. The essential oils for the dryer are ok if you want scented clothes. From the price I think she is diluting them. You can get pure essential oils from most natural grocers (e.g. Whole Foods) They have dropper bottles. Buy a bottle of grapeseed oil for a carrier oil, and make your own. Start 5 to 10 drops of essential oil to the dropper bottle, and then fill with the grapeseed oil. Shake it up well. Put a few drops of this on a clean washcloth and use as a dryer sheet. It will scent your laundry, but really won't kill germs or viruses.

On the website drugstore.com are detergents w/ almost same or similar ingredients. They have pretty big selection in the laundry products. You might go check it out. People even leave reviews too.

What is a carrier oil? Does it stain fabrics? Will the essential oil say pure on it? Any certain brand(s) better than others? What about GSE? Some say it kills germs in laundry. I like my sheets to have scent, but don't like to use LFS or sheets.

A carrier oil is used to dilute essential oil. Essential oils are very strong and should not be used full strength. I like grapeseed oil as a carrier, there are other vegetable oils you can use. I usually just buy the least expensive e.o. in the fragrance I like. A drop or two of diluted GSE is probably not going to kill any germs. The heat of the dryer will do more than GSE will. I've used a couple of drops of dilute e.o. on a damp washcloth in a load of clothes in the dryer without an problems.

Oh, and for those of us who line dry in warm months, will the sun kill germs too?

Personally I use ECOS which is made by Earth Friendly Products. You can get it online (ecos.com) or at some health food stores. As these products become more mainstream they will be available at regular stores. I just saw Seventh Generation and a few ECOS products at my local grocery store. Sad as it is to admit, it made my day (my kids say I need to get a life!). Also, I put the essential oil in the vinegar in the washer. I don't know how much good it does killing germs but I think a lot of that is in our heads. Washing and drying kill the germs.

I tried ECOS years ago, but the $ went up where I live so I stick with Wintree/Kirkland brand for my sheets and towels.
I actually also use the SG since I bought some on a great sale a while back, I find the SG suds quite a bit compared to the before mentioned brands in my Oasis. Not sure why.

When mixing the essential oil with vinegar, do you think the acidic nature of the vinegar reacts to the oils?
I still wonder if line drying kills as many germs as the heat of a dryer. Full sun over 70 degrees.

I did a Google search on whether the sun kills germs and it popped up a bunch a sites that say that the sun does indeed kill germs. As far as vinegar reacting to the essential oils, I have no idea. I just use it as an extra germ killer.

FYI, it's the UV light from the sun that kills germs, not the heat.

Same chemistry allows high intensity UV light to sanitize water and other things. The UV weakens/destroys the outer cell membranes of the germ.
