I'll reply here too. We installed ours about a month ago--marmoleum click. I love the look and the feel of it, and so far it seems indestructible. And I agree that it is super easy to clean. We get tons of positive comments on it from friends--and all the guys who've been working on the house, as well. We put it in after the cabinets went down. We have two 40 lb. dogs. They did a lot of slipping and sliding at first, but seem to have adjusted to it now. I have not noticed any scratches from them at all. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

I have sheet, installed (3x) after cabinets. If you get sheet, make sure your installers are good. Once in, though, love it.

I don't have dogs but I have an almost 2 and an almost 5 year old and they have trashed every surface in my home except the Marmoleum. Cleans up nicely too. (I use hot water and microfiber cloths. My kitchen is small.)

I am considering Marmoleum too. I would love to see some pictures of some of you that have it installed.

We have Marmoleum Click floors and 2 largish dogs (German Shepherd mix and Yellow Lab), plus 8 kids and 4 cats. We don't have any scratches after 2 yrs. The only mark is where a whole stack of no-sided cookies sheets fell from the counter with great force onto their corners...2 little slices. I would choose it again. The only floor we've ever had that was possibly tougher was Wilsonart Estate Plus laminate, which our little boys ran metal trucks on without a mark. The guys who replaced my very heavy dbl oven used a cart with metal wheels. I worried about the hardwood entry, but not the Marmoleum.

Ignore the celery...That was a color comparison for Fori. ;-) But you can see how tightly the seams go together on the Click...there are several in this photo:

I've had a marmoleum click floor for about 2 years now and while I love the look, it just doesn't stand up to the wear of even a moderately used kitchen.

First off, on install it got a big scratch while moving in the stove. Ouch. The nice thing about this stuff is that flaws like that tend to get lost over time. They sort of "wear in" and disappear.

Secondly some hot bacon grease seems to have melted a splash pattern into several of the planks. I'm not sure how or when that happened, and word is this stuff is not supposed to melt but it does. I managed to pick out the burned marks and re-coat the finish so once again, the're not that visible (matte clear waterborne polyurethane at the hardware store matches the stock finish pretty well), but you can still see it in the right light.

Finally, a leaking freezer caused the seam between two planks to bubble up about 2-3" in each direction. Again, not horribly visible except in the right light, but still damaged.

I spent about $600 on the material for this floor plus the cost of having a friend install it. Given the rate of damage to it I don't expect it to last more than another few years. I want to like it but I just can't say that it wears well enough to recommend it to anyone else.

I have 250 sq ft of Eternity Marmoleum Click planks in the garage! I am going to install cabinets first, then the floor. So I can't weigh in on how I like my Marmoleum but everyone who comes by is enjoying looking at it in the garage because no one has heard of it! My electricians were discussing it and admiring it last Sunday!

We had Marmoleum sheet flooring installed in our previous house -- kitchen, mudroom, laundry, powder room and master bath -- and it was great. Two dogs + two boys and it still looked amazing when we sold the house. Very easy to care for. We are hoping to install it in this kitchen when the time comes.

How slippery is Marmoleum? I have 3 Greyhounds and I can't have a slippery floor!

I have the click style marmoleum. I don't feel it is at all slippery. I have it 15+ years. I was able to DIY install and save money but if I had to do it over again I would have chosen the glue down tiles. I am assuming they can be replaced when you get a guage. My autistic daughter is a beast with flooring. She surprisingly has not damaged them with water but had managed to guage them with a hanger she left on the floor. I could replace those tiles but I think it would be a major project. Unlike many manufacturers they still carry her color, Caribbean, after all these years.
