help with a "jointed" faucet!

Several days ago I read a post from someone who had put what looked like a pot-filler style faucet in as a regular (maybe even a main) faucet. It came up through the counter (not out of the wall) and had both hot and cold functions. I wrote down the name of the faucet, but now I can't find that piece of paper anywhere! If the poster, or anyone else out there can tell me what that faucet might be, I'd appreciate it. I've tried searching for it, but can't seem to find the post. (I'm not even sure if the original post that this person responded to was about faucets). (it was not a Kholer, though. That one I know about and unfortunately, it is out of my price range.)

I never knew Geyser made one, but I have on my dream list the Karbon one from Kohler. The prices are so far apart though, the Kohler one sells for about $1500, not $150.

EAM44, can you post the link for that faucet.

Yeah, well, there is a WORLD of difference between an import knockoff and a bigh quality product from an American compny. 10x the quality difference? At least. Save your money to put with more money and get the Kohler. You won't be sorry.

Thank you for finding the faucets for me! And thank you, too, hollysprings, for the advice. I guess that is really the next question . . . what is the quality like?
I must admit that I am a bit reluctant to spend a whole lot of money on a faucet, largely because of our experiences with a bathroom faucet we bought. It was $400, and is lovely, but the "stopper" doesn't work properly at all. (When you lift the "pull" to open the drain, it doesn't open up well at all and the water just sits there until I reach into the water and physically pull up the metal "plug".) Our old cheapo bathroom faucet actually worked much better, although it didn't look that great. I would really appreciate any reviews anyone might be able to give me on these faucets, or a similar style one. Is there a sprayer on these faucets? If there is, do you have to hold the sprayer button down (and keep pressing it down) to make it spray?

Well, your bathroom stopper probably just needs someone to climb under the sink and adjust it correctly.

Chicago Faucets makes (or did) a jointed faucet that was fabulous and awesome and indestructible, but it was only jointed in the horizontal plane.

Hmmm, fori. Your response made me smile because my husband - who is the guy who put in our bathroom, and who is a really handy guy - seemed to suggest to me that it was the faucet that was at fault, and all we needed to do was "grab it and pull it up ourselves". As handy as he is, he also poops out at the end of a project, and I guess that's what has happened here. I'll bet he just doesn't want to be bothered fixing it!! I can't believe I bought the "it's just the way it is" line (for the last 3 years!). Ha! I'll be talking to him tonight about fixing it :)

Check out Karbons on amazon, around $900, not $1500, if that makes a difference. Definitely still not cheap, but I do love mine already.
