Wow. My kitchen is done and the marble counters are spectacular! I am trying to have a "relaxed" attitude about the counters -if there's a stain "who cares"! NOT! I am about to divorce my husband as he spilled coffee yesterday and failed to wipe it up! I came home to a big old coffee stain! I went mad. After much research I took some hydrogen peroxide (only 3% because I couldn't find any stronger) and saturated the stain with a paper towel. It worked after several attempts! BUT I feel like I have to constantly put towels down and so nothing touches these counters. I put cutting boards all over when the food prep starts so as not to touch a piece of food to the counters. I am exhausted trying to keep the counters perfect. I won't even let my husband do the dishes! My kids are coming home in a couple days from college and I am petrified! To add to the insanity I sealed them again after they had just been done 2 weeks ago. Help I need therapy! BUT I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. So really how do you work with these things every day????
