Moen Kitchen Tap Probs

Purchased this tap about 3 months ago:

About 2 months ago the tap began to lose pressure and now will not change from shower to flow automatically the way it used to. The house's pressure is fine, its just this tap. Should I replace the tap? I have cleaned out the filter inside the handle and it helped slightly. Is it the cartridge?

I am so disappointed in Moen lately. This is the 3rd product in 6 months from them I have had probs with.

I looked at the link you provided. Do you have a water softener? If not, then maybe the problem is hard water causing mineral buildup in this faucet. Moen makes great products. They are my first choice.

If hard water is the culprit, then CLR will dissolve the lime/calcium buildup that is clogging your spray head and preventing the switch from working properly.
