water pressure

I installed an American Standard bridge faucet with spray about 4 years ago. Please bear with me, because my memory of the details is not precise. My water pressure in the house is fine everywhere but the kitchen sink. I believe when I installed it, the pressure was good. A long time ago (I was supposed to fix this, but it was more an annoyance than an emergency) the pressure reduced about 1/2. It may or may not have coincided with the installation of the dishwasher next to it. I have 3/4 inch copper going to the floor just under the sink, turning to 1/2 inch before turning to the flexible hot and cold. The hot, the cold and a combination of both on full, have the same low pressure. I finally called American Standard today to get replacement parts and they were kind enough to send me 2 valves. Could this really be the problem? Would both the hot and cold valves have the same problem? Equally? They claimed it couldn't be the diverter to the spray, but I don't know where else to check. Any suggestions? Thanks.
