Pantry almost finished - way to purge!

I am in love with my new pantry. I really cleaned and pitched before I built this so believe it or not it is fully stocked.

Thanks to all for the suggestions such as "glass doors are OK" and "black is beautitful" and, and, and,

Any bets on how long it stays this way?.....LOL

That is one beautiful pantry! Love the reeds and the black.

If it were in my house, it would stay pretty for maybe a day :)

That looks great! What'd you use for shelving in there? Was it something custom ordered with the cabinets?

Wow, that looks really great! With the glass doors, I bet it will stay nicer and neater than without the doors. Well, I can only speak for my household. LOL.

The shelves are pre-made bullnosed stair treads that I bought at HD. They are almost an inch thick so they hold a ton of weight without sagging.

That is just fabulous. Stunning! I love the little drawer with the bin pull! What a great use of those strong stair treads. Love it!

nice work!!! I just did the same task this weekend in our walk-in pantry (ugh, ugh, ugh!!) but boy it sure feels good.

Cindy, I LOVE it. I'm so happy for you. Guess what? I'm not going to get my pantry...and it was what I wanted so badly. I was going to use the current laundry closet in the kitchen for the pantry based on the inspiration photos I posted. I was going to move the W/D to the garage. Simple, right? WRONG! It was going to cost $5K to move them to the garage due to plumbing issues. I just didn't have it in my budget. So...the laundry closet remains in the kitchen. I'm going to stack the washer and dryer and house them in the spot the dryer used to be. I'm going to put the fridge in the space the washer was in. That allowed me to buy a stack of drawers where the fridge used to be and that is what I'll have to use for a pantry. I just hate it...as the pantry was going to be my most favorite aspect of the kitchen but it is what it is. I'm so happy you were able to work it out. Congrats!
