Bathroom Before and After

We took out a small useless closet that was beside the tiny master bath to make room for a large shower. We also reconfigured the main bathroom to make room for the large master bath shower...

That is just gorgeous! You did an excellent job!

Wonderful! We think our master bath used to be a porch. No heating ducts in it. Your configuration reminds me of ours. We need to totally gut and re-do our bathroom and I love your shower arrangement. I would love to get rid of our tub and do what you did. Very nice job!

Bathroom is beautiful. Did you have a tub? What tile did you use on the floor?

Where did you put the toilet? My bathroom is a very similar layout and I'm planning on updating it soon.

Good morning leabeau! Great work on this B & A Bathroom - Now officially a Shower room! It is a much better use of space - especially like the full wall mirror for the space - and yes - the toilet mystery is intriguing!

Wow! That's beautiful! Well done. Mind letting us know what a makeover like that would cost?

Look in the mirror. The toilet is behind the door
  • 13 years ago
I see it now... wasn't sure if that was it or not initially.

Thank you all for your comments! I will try to answer some of your questions. Yes, the toilet is placed beside the door when you walk in to the left. There never was a bathtub here. The first picture was all that the bathroom was, there was a wall against the door so nothing behind it. We changed the way the door opened and we had a closet where our shower now is, we could have tried to cram a tub into the bathroom, do a single sink, small shower but at the end of the day we didn't use our large tub too often so we opted to go with a larger shower - we plan to put in a hot tub in our yard so that will be the place to relax I guess :) The flooring tile is 18' x 18' tiles which are the same as the shower tiles just not the polished finish - they are the matte finish. We are located in the White Rock, BC area and all tile came from Ames Tile located out of Burnaby. This tile in particular is from the Aurea Series - Sand. We did a large reno (I posted other pics under different areas) and I honestly have no idea what this cost. I'll ask my husband what he figures this area cost us and let you know.
