I've moved ahead and painted the shutters black(not yet up on the house) and am proceeding with the yellow door. My next question is about door hardware and house lighting. I currently have a brass door handle. Could I use that on a yellow door? I looked thru about 100 pics of yellow doors and the handles run the gamut from brass to nickel to black. Then......should the door hardware match the finish on the porch lighting? If the answer is yes, then based on the color of my house, I would pretty much have to go with a black finish on the lighting, which would mean I would "have" to go with black hardware on the door? Could I do a satin nickel on the door and black lighting? Can I stick with brass on the door and do black lighting? Here's the house AGAIN!!!!! before shutter/door changes and a couple of options I found for lighting. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
