We used the Blum restrictors for a couple of our cabinets. Work great and very inexpensive - a few dollars. The type depended on which model hinge we had so I'd check with your hinge manufacturer.

We needed to use the restrictors for a few of our cabinets. Our cabinetmaker did it, but here's a YouTube video that shows you what they look like and how they work for the Blum Full Overlay Soft Close hinges.

Here is a link that might be useful: Blum full overlay soft-close hinge with restrictor clip

I ordered mine from amazon. They are tiny little things. Not hard to install at all but you do have to take the door off the add the clip. Works like a charm.

I'm about to order hinge restriction clips (Blum) for several cabinets. Do I need clips for both hinges on each door or will installing a clip on one hinge take care of it?

Thanks!

both

We had the same issue; our contractor ordered and installed the clips. I also used those tiny felt or clear vinyl adhesive bumpers in a few unobtrusive spots for some extra padding. I put two on the side of the fridge since our pantry doors could hit the fridge when both are opened at the same time (and with kids, this does happen) as well as on a counter edge where the broom closet door touches it.
