Do you recognize these blocks?

Yesterday I put together a quilt with blocks I received here at the quilting forum in 2005. I had forgotten about them until I moved my sewing room last year. They are for a serviceman who was injured in the war. He is the DH of my daughter's high school classmates.

I still have the name tags that were on them but I don't remember who made which block. Do they look familiar to any one? I know which block I made, it is the friendship star in the lower right hand corner.

Here is a link that might be useful: Red/White/ Blue quilt

I may have made the blue/white star second from left in top row. It is the Martha Washington Star from Quilterscache.com and I know I have made that one in those colors in the past for a GW swap.

Linda - completely OT - I wasn't involved in this Forum in 2005 - but I wanted to ask you about your machine.
    I am considering a Pfaff Grand Hobby 1200 with a 9" throat.
Yours looks like it (or one of the same under a different name). How do you like it?

What I nice way to use up those blocks!

magothyrivergirl - my machine is a Babylock Quilter's Choice Pro (BLQP). It has a 9 inch throat. I have been very happy with it. I have done over 100 quilts with it since May 2004. I only wish it had a larger throat but it has been a great quilting machine. I have not had any problems with it except when I broke the little thread guide near the tension by pulling the spool of thread off the machine. It was replaced while I waited at no charge to me.
If I can help with any other questions, just let me know.

Thank you Linda - I have been considering it for over a year - just wasn't ready, then a new frame came out and an 18.8 LA and a big price tag. The price is right on the 9" Pfaff and the new frame, and there is a local dealer. I looked up the specs on the BLQP & the Pfaff and they are very, very similar. If I take the plunge, I will definitely take you up on asking some questions:) thanks!

Your daughter did a great job on your Blog BTW -

Mine is in the bottom row, second from the left. As I recall you were the one who organized that swap, weren't you Linda? I have that quilt thrown over the back of the couch in my family/sewing room. I usually bring it upstairs from Memorial Day to the Fourth of July.

Fran, I didn't organize that swap. I did help organize two baby quilts that we did as a group. The blocks were sent to me to put together and quilt.
It was fun to get these blocks out and look at all the names from 5 years ago. I also have a group of signed Christmas blocks from a swap done here. Maybe I should put that quilt together next!

Jennifer, I don't know why you aren't seeing the picture. The link is working for me.

Jennifer, I'm glad it worked for you. What was happening when you couldn't see the picture. Was the server down or was it just the picture?
If anyone doesn't see her block in the quilt, it is because I still have a few blocks that will be used in a smaller lap quilt.
