Great use of the 'twisted' blocks and I really like the little stepping stone border!

Very nice! I have had the twister tool for a couple of years now and have never used it.....must dig it out!
    You have given me inspiration!

Nice work. I am tempted to buy the twister ruler but I don't want to spend $$ on something I may never use.
The temptation is stronger now that I've seen your quilt.
    TFS.

Oh, so cute. I bet it was fun to make and your quilting looks nice as well.

Yes, it was fun to make, and if you donâÂÂt have the twister tool, go ahead a get one. I find I donâÂÂt use it a lot, but have fun with it when I do. This is about as large as I would want to make a Twister, but I can see using the large twister and sewing the blocks together as you goâ¦.IâÂÂm just not that adventurous.

There is some âÂÂwasteâ but it can be put to good use, as I used them in the border of this one and really like how it turned out.

I got inspired with the Twisters when LindaOH started making hers a couple years ago. Twist on, ladies.......

LindaOH also influenced me to buy the Twister tool (2 sizes) and the book at a quilt show - I haven't made anything YET!
Someday......everytime I see a quilt like yours, I am inspired. I really need more time. I think this is one project that you must complete in a timely manner -- and time is a problem --- and a clean surface to stay organized ~lol.
Love the twisted heart and the name! You are so creative Sharon!

You're right about the time, Marsha, but I did it in steps. Cutting squares, laying them out and sewing together is the easy part and I did them in steps. Cutting the Twister squares is what takes time for me and that's one reason I prefer the smaller size to make Twister patterns. I think the next one I do (there's a Shamrock I really like), I might just pin the squares onto a sheet or something until I can sew them together. I've had to rethink my steps in certain patterns, but they're all doable, just takes more time.

Sharon I love it!!! I have the twister template from an old quilt book and have yet to make it.

Love your use of the left overs, the border really makes the hearts pop.

Thank you, ladies. Get your tool, the twisted pattern you want to make along with your fabric, put them in a baggie and take them to retreat! You can have the top together by the time you leave! Enjoy!!! :-)
