Venting for Cooktop in Island

13 years ago
Does anyone have suggestions on ways to vent a cooktop that will be located in an island? I decided against downdraft ventilation due to reading way too many negative comments about poor function. There is a bank of windows that would be blocked if I went with a island vent. Are there any other options??? HELP!!
