Hiring a bad contractor can add so much stress to life! I was worried about thousands of dollars going out the window. I did extensive research before deciding on which contractor to hire, but I still didn't make a wise choice. The contractor I hired, Casey Powell from Peachtree Woodworks in Southeastern USA made promises he did not keep. This GC reminds me of a car salesman. It was easy for him to make promises, but not to keep them. Remember when hiring a contractor to get everything in writing.
