Lois, I had a set like that, maybe even the same one. After a while I realized that I already had the patterns I liked in other books so I donated them to the boutique at our quilt show. I just happened to see the lady who bought them - she was hugging them and looking SO happy! :) I was really glad they found a new home.

I bet there is a section with instructions and techniques, too, isn't there?

I think there is, Donna. It's a really lovely set.

We did get some really nasty weather. We lucked out and got only 4-6" of snow. Farther north, they got up to 16" yesterday and I think it snowed overnight too. Yikes. I think the weather gods knew I was leaving Minnesota this year for three months, so they decided to start winter early, just so I wouldn't miss it. I was hoping to avoid driving to work in the snow this year, but I missed out by a week. Friday is my last day.

I thought it seemed early for such severe winter weather, even for MN! Congrats on your retirement! Woohoo Lois! :)
