That's our quilting battle cry!

GOOOOOOOO, Karpet!!!!!

(I crack myself up)

Thanks so much! Wow! Okay, I'm a little over 1/2 way, had to stop and shake out the shoulders and neck - although FMQ is much easier on me than SITD - that feels like a wrestling match! And it helps that this is all around the edge and not in the middle of the quilt. Okay, it's 9:30 - an hour and a half left. I'm going back in - had to put my reading glasses on too!

How did it go? Did you get it done? How are your shoulders?

Whew, I did finish last night and had time to start getting the binding fabric ready - but as I slept on it, I second guessed myself on the binding and have decided to use another fabric as of this am. Still trying to work out in my mind how to also add a sleeve. The quilting went well last night - I did have a crink in my neck by the time I was done, but it is so good to finish a goal. A night of sleep and the crink is gone. Thanks for your encouragement!

Yea! Congrats on finishing!!!

Kate

The binding did not go on last night as planned - ended up correcting mistakes, sigh. So the binding went on this morning, but I have two areas to fix where the hanging sleeve is before all the machine work is done. Why does the end part seem to take so long? I think it's because the finish line is in sight. Stay warm today.

Is this made out of neck ties? If so would you please post a picture so I can see it? Thanks!
