My personal preference is to keep my upholstered pieces neutral and add pattern and color with paint, rugs, pillows and accessories. That way I have the greatest flexibility for change at the smallest cost.

This style of chair is nice....but, I'm not sure I'm in love with the fabric choice.

Love the chair, does it come in any other colors that would go with the sofa you've already purchased, love the pattern, would go nicely with the plain of the sofa.

I went furniture shopping with my mom three weeks ago. We almost purchased the Talbot from La-Z-Boy in a similar fabric. We were struggling with the same issue. We went with a similar shaped recliner as the chair in a slightly darker solid fabric. The pillows and curtains and rugs and knick knacks my mother adores add enough color and pattern to round it out.
