Silly me. I volunteered to make ties so that our male dancers would be more color coordinated with the girls. The boys are 6-14 in ages.

I have only found a pattern in the Vogue book. Nothing in any of our sewing books at the library. I finally bought a tie at a thrift store to take apart and use as a pattern. The lining is some type of thick woven fabric, which no one at the fabric store can identify for me, nor do they have suggestions for a different fabric to use.

I have thin silky poly for the ties and need to make up 8 of them before St. Patrick's Day. Any links or books I could order for better instructions?
