Newbie needing help with draw curtain...

Hi, I'm new to this forum but not Gardenweb. I have an unusual question, I think. I'd like to have a LARGE curtain made for our garage. I'm thinking of something like a curtain they use in hospitals to provide privacy between beds. Except in our case it would be used to hide our storage shelving.

The curtain would hang from the ceiling and run across a track. It would be about 12'-13' wide and about 9-7/8' high. I was thinking about using some kind of outdoor fabric (sunbrella?) that would be thicker than usual. The curtain would slide open when we are getting into our storage shelves and slide (pull) closed when we are trying to hide all the stuff.

Here's the kicker. I don't sew! But feel that I'm capable of MAYBE attempting something like this if I was given some direction. I don't have a sewing machine (but maybe I could borrow one).

Here are my questions:

(1) How would I sew the fabric together to make such a huge curtain? Would it just be something like 3 panels sewn together that are 9-7/8' long (the length)?

(2) Does anyone know something about the hospital-type of thing I'm going for? Where do I get those ceiling tracks? Or something similar?

(3) Would you putting "weighting" in the bottom seam to give the curtain some weight so it would not blow around on windy days (when the garage doors are open?

(4) Is there anything I'm not taking into consideration here?

HELP! I really would like to get this done ASAP and need a push in the right direction. Thanks in advance for your help!
