I have a commercial Singer. Model 1191 D300A

It's a WONDERFUL machine, but I need a part replaced and I have had a horrible time finding a part for this machine. I have been told by more than one parts house that this is one that Singer got in trouble for..(lol) Was told that Singer copied a Juki. The machine does have more of a Juki appearance.

I have to get a part called a "shuttle race" It's a part that sits next to the bobbin area... near thread...(left of it.) Mine has gotten a bit worn and screws with popping thread... stitches..etc...

Do any of you have a link for Singer Parts? I've written to a number of places... A few said they will get back in touch if they find one... not counting on it...

Do any of you have this machine?
