I rent, and want to change a hard wired ceiling light to a plug in. I bought a swag light kit, which is a silver cord with 2 wires in it. The only instructions are "attach the wire to the fixture." The chandelier has 2 wires plus a ground wire ( that much I can identify) Can anyone give me an easy way to do this?
