Strange problem with recessed lights

I installed more than 60 Halo 6" new work cans in my new home. My kitchen and breakfast room have about 12. I have 65 watt R-40 bulbs in them. Over the year since I have moved in, not a week goes by without one or more of them going out... in most cases tapping the bulb or unscrewing a little and re-tightening turns it back on... in some cases just pushing sideways turns it on. Today I had 5 out... 4 came back on, 1 seems like a bad bulb.

I first thought it was the temp sensor, but they are rated for up to 100watts and I am using only 65 watt bulbs... no insulation anywhere near them... and the temp sensor should not reset from moving the bulb... sockets had red protectors in all during construction and are clean.

Interesting thing is that this has happened only in 2 rooms... kitchen and my office. Family room, which is used just as mush has never had any issues.

A few days ago one light (I'm guessing the bulb; but could it have been temp sensor?) in my office was actually making a loud buzzing sound that went away once I turned the light off.

Anyone seen this before? Bad socket? Bad bulbs? (Phillips Home Depot special 24 pack)... I thought it may be washing machine vibration working the bulbs loose, but the family room is closer than kitchen and office and has never had any issues.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
