When I build I use Marvin. The distributor in GA is superb. Marvin's windows hold up excellently to all weather conditions and is guarenteed (glass) against seal failures and cracks for 20 years and 10 years on hardware (including sash).
Their extruded alumium is the srogest I've seen and it has saved me money in rot/replacement of poorer quality windows. Go to Marvin.com and take a look. When installing ask about Marvin's SILLGUARD. It is a rigid sill pan that draws moisutre away from the sill/frame of the home.

mlloyd works for Marvin, and has probably never installed a window.
Loewen makes a beautiful product, but it does carry a premium price tag. Marvin does make a great product, and Jeld-Wen has 3 window lines. Their high end line is really nice.
All 3 companies can produce product that will handle the elements you are dealing with. Check with local building officials to see if there is a Design Pressure requirement. This will give you a starting point for comparison.
After you figure out which options you want, get some quotes from area dealers for each. Check with local contractors to see what they recommend.
From there, it'll come down to personal taste and budgets.
